For the first time the event heads to the beautiful county of Shropshire to enjoy the wonderful quiet rural lanes, the beautiful and stunning scenery and partake in local fayre from Shropshire Blue Cheese to Shrewsbury Biscuits and to sample the great array of local produce.
A visit on Saturday to Ludlow one of the "Foodie" capitals of England should prove a highlight. No Regis Classic Tour would be complete without a country house or two Loton Hall and Stokesay Court. An interesting and quirky museum in the form of 'The Land of Lost Content' at Craven Arms and a brewery - Wood Brewery at Winstanstow.
Add to this a chance to drive the Loton Park Hillclimb (non-competitively) and a mouth watering selection of classic cars from a 1927 Alvis 12.50 to a 1947 Allard J2, a duo of Derby Bentleys and a very rare Bristol 400 Convertible. At least a dozen Austin Healeys and over half a dozen MG marques plus AC, Sunbeam & Mercedes and a lot more.
The Ladies of Bognor Regis Motor Club have been organising this annual Tour of Fun and Fundraising for 12 years now and have raised over £224,000 for Cancer charities over the last 11 years. The lucky recipients of this year's fundraising efforts will be Against Breast Cancer and Orchid - Fighting Male Cancer.
The entry fee of £260pp includes the following:
Entry fees to all attractions, rally plate, comprehensive tulip roadbook and souvenier finisher's awards, plus the services of RAC Breakdown Assistance during the event, are also included.
The event starts at Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa just north of Shrewsbury and finishes on Sunday afternoon at RAF Museum Cosford.
