The Harrow is at the heart of the community

Congratulations to Sarah Jeffries, manager of The Harrow in Hornchurch, an Ember Inns Pub who has won two 'Heart in the Community' awards. As part of the awards, regional business manager for Ember Inns, Colin Brown, was awarded 'Best Team Achievement', picured receiving £500, which he has donated to Against Breast Cancer in support of the Drink Pink campaign. But they're not stopping there, Sarah and the Harrow also have other fundraising planned: on Thursday 17th June they have organised a 'Fairy Walk' when they'll be STAMPING for 3 hours from the Harrow, around other pubs in the area. The aim is to keep moving - the stamping will not stop even when they are in other pubs. Oh, and they will be wearing Fairy costumes!
