Andy McDonald, Managing Director of Lifelyte iPhone and Android applications has developed the new App for the charity following his successful launch of the iThame App for the town of Thame. The Splash of Pink App is free and available for download here.
Gordon Vallance, Director of Against Breast Cancer said, 'This is a ground-breaking achievement for the charity and just one of the many ways we are using social media to share information about our valuable research. Better understanding the secondary spread of breast cancer will be the key to helping us develop a vaccine against the disease. We are extremely grateful to Dwina and Robin for allowing us to use their home for our fundraising event as we need £1m a year to continue our research work at University College and Westminster London.'
The haute couture fashion show will feature designers supplied by Matches Fashion, London, as well as Paul Costelloe and Pringles. The day will be topped off with live music by Robin Gibb, featuring special guest Beverley Knight. Find out more about the 'Splash of Pink Fashion Show and Couture Tea' on our dedicated events page.
