Virtual fundraising FAQs
Your virtual fundraising faqs answered!
How can I keep my training up without the gym, and without being too close to people?
There are many online virtual fitness videos that are effective in keeping your fitness up, whether that be a garden circuit session, zumba or weights session. If you have an exercise machine or can go out for a run, walk or cycle at a distance away from the public, that is a great way to get in your daily cardio too!
How can I keep motivated to train over this period of isolation?
If your finding it hard to train without your usually routine, why not take on our buy my miles virtual marathon challenge? This will give you a goal and will enable you to keep up your fundraising at the same time.
Remember, we always have new sporting and challenging events listed on our website! Check them out here.
How can I fundraise when I have to #stayathome?
There are many virtual ways in which you can still engage with family and friends to help you fundraise. Think of the activities you do such as gaming, cooking or watching movies, and see if you can turn these into fundraisers. You might want to challenge someone to a game, and the highest score has to donate onto your Justgiving page. Or you instead of going out for a meal or cinema screening, get your friends to join you virtually and donate the money you would of spent. Click here for more ideas.
