There are lots of ways you can get involved in fundraising for Against Breast Cancer. On the 'your own event' page you'll find tips on how to plan your fundraising event or idea and how our charity office can support you.
Fundraising is about raising awareness, as well as money. Against Breast Cancer won't attract funds unless people know about the charity's singular aim of funding research into prevention of the disease.
So, don't be shy about asking for money. If you're passionate about our breast cancer research or you have a personal reason for supporting the charity, let people know. Fire them with your enthusiasm and they'll be much more ready to give and help. If someone's promised support, keep in touch by email/phone/Twitter/Facebook or even write a blog to jog their memory and keep them up-to-date with your progress.
