Planning your event

The first step to a successful fundraising event...

It can't be understated how important it is to plan your event, and this includes taking time to prepare a budget for your event. A budget puts you in control and keep you there! It helps you focus on your income and expenditure and by doing so takes away some of the stresses & strains that can go with running your own event. 

Budgets don't have to be complex, but do remember to be realistic about what you think you can manage and plan your event accordingly. Don't forget to consider the 'hidden costs', you may need to apply for licences, insurance or supply complimentary tickets.
