Complaints Policy & Procedures

At Against Breast Cancer we are committed to delivering a high standard of service and maintaining good relations with our supporters, donors, volunteers and our interaction with members of the public is central to this. However, because we are human sometimes things can go wrong and mistakes get made. If you have experienced any aspect of our work that you are unhappy with,  please get in touch we would like to hear about it. We will use your feedback as an opportunity for us to improve the delivery of our services wherever possible.

Our Aim:

  • To provide a fair complaints procedure which is clear and easy to use.
  • To publicise our complaints procedure so that people know how to make a complaint.
  • To make sure that all complaints are investigated in a timely way.
  • To make sure that complaints are, wherever possible, resolved and that relationships are repaired and;
  • To gather information which helps us to improve what we do.

  • You will be treated with courtesy and fairness in your dealings with us at all times
  • Your complaint will be handled with sensitivity and discretion

Your complaint will be passed to a senior member of staff who will try to help. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours and respond to all complaints within 5 working days.

If you are not satisfied

If your complaint is about our fundraising or you are not satisfied with the response you have received from us, you are entitled to take it to the Fundraising Regulator.

Follow up

In order for us to improve the service we provide, we may wish to contact you within a month of your complaint being dealt with in order to check that you were satisfied with our resolution of your complaint.
