Witney was awash with pink as the town came together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Witney in Pink – and what a celebration it was! Thanks to the incredible efforts of founder Jeanne Chattoe, her dedicated team at The Witney Action Group, tireless volunteers, and the amazing people of Witney, this year’s event raised an astounding £9,375. This brings Jeanne’s lifetime fundraising total to over a phenomenal £300,000 for Against Breast Cancer!
The streets of Witney were transformed into a carnival of colour and joy. Highlights included the vibrant beats of Sol Samba, dazzling performances from choirs, musicians, and dance groups, and the much-loved Pink Car Parade, which once again stole the show with its parade of fabulously pink vehicles.
Visitors enjoyed themed activities such as yoga sessions, martial arts demonstrations, and the popular “donate to participate” zone. And this year introduced a brand-new crowd-pleaser—the Pink Pooch Dog Show, which had tails wagging all afternoon!

To mark this milestone year, Cayla Au, a talented Creative Industries student from Abingdon & Witney College, unveiled a fresh new logo for the event. Her design cleverly transformed the iconic pink ribbon into a flowing “W,” symbolising Witney, women’s health, and community strength. The logo made its debut at the Witney Carnival and featured throughout the 2025 campaign.
This 25th anniversary of Witney in Pink was more than a celebration. It was a powerful reminder of what community spirit can achieve. Witney in Pink continues to raise vital funds and awareness for breast cancer research, and we couldn’t be prouder.
A HUGE thank you to Jeanne and everyone who made this year’s event such a spectacular success.
