Paint Abingdon Pink is Against Breast Cancer’s annual community fundraising event, proudly held each year in Abingdon Market Square. Formerly known as Splash of Pink, the event continues its much‑loved tradition under a new name, while also reflecting a growing ambition to bring the whole town together in a visible show of support for breast cancer research and awareness.
Each year, Paint Abingdon Pink transforms Abingdon Market Square into a vibrant, welcoming space filled with colour, music and community spirit. As a result, residents, families, local businesses and community groups come together to enjoy a free, family‑friendly day, all while raising vital funds for Against Breast Cancer. In addition, visitors are encouraged to wear pink, with local businesses also turning their windows pink for the occasion.
What’s on during the day:
This years event will take place July 4th, 10am – 3.30pm.
The event features a wide range of activities and entertainment, including:

- Abbey Brass
- Ashnah Belly Dance
- Strawberry Fayre Majorettes
- Face Painting
- Tombola and raffle
- The Town Crier
- And so much more!
All funds raised through Paint Abingdon Pink support Against Breast Cancer’s vital research into secondary spread breast cancer. Money raised at the event helps fund ground‑breaking research projects focused on preventing breast cancer, improving early detection and increasing survival rates.
