Swimming now has its own marathon.
Taking place at the venue of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games – the London Aquatic Centre, on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Dive into the Pool of Champions. Participants can take on the Marathon (10K), the Half Marathon (5K) or the 1K Challenge. Alternatively, take on the Marathon 10K as part of a team of two.
The event is organised such that you can get instant reliable results using RFID chip technology to deliver an engaging, exciting challenge (for spectators as well as participants). No need for lap counting or endless laps of the same lane. Team 10K will tag in transition to start your teammates swim. A transition area will enable you to interact with your supporters, take on fluids/fuel and even take a mid-race selfie (if you’re not worried about your time).
