Trek the Grand Canyon is an American challenge with an acclimatisation trek through Sedona, with its popular red rock formations, also known as Red Rock Country. Natives consider this to be the spiritual vortex to the south-west of America and it’s not surprising why – Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon rival many national parks the World over.
You will split into smaller groups on Days 3 & 4 and spend two days exploring the Grand Canyon National Park descending on different trails each with equally epic views of one of the world’s most magnificent natural wonders. The trekking will be tough, descending over 2,000ft before trekking out again. Your efforts will be rewarded with breath-taking scenery from start to finish. Once back at the rim on Day 4 take in the views before heading to Lake Powell.
Your adventure continues as you explore the trails in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Colourful spires of rock, called hoodoos create a surreal appearance throughout the park and at night more than 7500 stars are visible at Bryce Canyon. Zion Canyon is totally opposite to the Grand Canyon. At the Grand Canyon you can stand on the edge and look down, but at Zion Canyon you will look up from the bottom to view the beautiful sandstones.
Once you have successfully explored these natural wonders it’s on to Las Vegas to celebrate your achievements!
