Splash of Pink Fashion Show & Couture Tea
Against Breast Cancer is delighted to be able to offer our supporters the opportunity to purchase exclusive tickets to one of the hottest events in the 2010 Fashion Season. Following the close of London Fashion Week, we are staging the Splash of Pink Fashion Show and Couture Tea, a star-studded event which will be hosted by Dwina and Robin Gibb at their beautiful family home in Thame, Oxfordshire, on Saturday 25th September.
The main feature of the day will be a stunning live catwalk fashion show, with models being styled by the renowned international make-up artist Attracta Courtney, and celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford and his team. We've joined together with individual fashion designers and London fashion house Matches Fashion, who will all showcase pieces from some of the world's top couture houses. Among the designers you will see featured will be: Paul Costelloe, John Rocha, Pringles, Burberry Porsum, Matthew Williamson, Preen, Erdem, Diane von Furstenberg and many others.
As a guest you will join other Against Breast Cancer supporters from the world of music, fashion, television and sport and we're delighted that various high-profile celebrities are supporting the occasion, including: Simon Cowell (a Patron of the charity); his mother, Julie Cowell (Against Breast Cancer's Honorary President); Ben Shephard (Patron); Duncan Bannatyne, Lucy and Greg Rusedski, Paul Costelloe and Jimmy Choo.
The event will begin with some elegant champagne on the picturesque lawn of the Gibb's home. Guests will be able to wander freely around the private garden and orchard, before making their way into the marquee for the specially designed catwalk show, followed by an indulgent and scrumptious English Couture Tea. During the afternoon, there will be a charity Auction and Raffle offering glittering prizes, including some unique pieces as well as special donations by some of the hottest designers around. The event will close with an exclusive, live music performance by Robin Gibb providing the perfect finale.
The Splash of Pink Fashion Show and Couture Tea promises to be a very stylish occasion and we do hope that you will be able to join us for a fabulous and very special afternoon of designer fashion and music, which will also help Against Breast Cancer to raise essential funds and support our continuing research into secondary spread breast cancer and a vaccine against the disease. We would be delighted if you took this opportunity to entertain friends, colleagues, or clients. Tickets are available at £200 per person, £2,000 for a table of ten, or £1,200 for a table of six.
