The Lake District Ultra Challenge invites you take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Against Breast Cancer’s groundbreaking research into secondary spread breast cancer!
Challenge Basecamp sits in the vibrant market town of Kendal, the gateway to the Lake District. The perfect starting point for an unforgettable adventure. The course winds through classic Lakeland scenery, leading the way toward Ambleside.
The halfway point beside the shores of Lake Windermere, offers walkers some of the most iconic vistas in the region. Calm water, dramatic peaks, and a landscape that inspires you to keep pushing forward. The second half of the route continues through rolling countryside and scenic trails before circling back toward Kendal.
And when you finally return to Basecamp, you’ll be met with a huge, celebratory welcome!
