Take part in the London Summer Walk. Get your walking shoes on and explore some of the Capital’s lesser-known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section – and fundraise for Against Breast Cancer’s groundbreaking research into secondary spread breast cancer.
The London Summer Walk starts at the impressive Woolwich Barracks. A short walk from the Elizabeth Line, DLR, and Overground. From here, you can take on a full marathon looped route that leads you into the heart of London. Passing riverside paths and famous landmarks along the way. There’s a 25km option that includes the iconic sights of Greenwich, and a 10km route that offers a more relaxed summer challenge. It’s a fun, flexible event suitable for all fitness levels.A great way to enjoy the Capital on foot.
Routes steeped in history with iconic sights. There is a lively warm up, full support all the way and rest stops with snacks & drinks. Enjoy BBQ meal, bar & music at the finish, making for a wonderful active end of summer celebration!
