2023 date TBC
The Milton Keynes Half Marathon and Marathon are the culimating events of the MK Marathon Weekend, the biggest mass participation running race and community event in the Home Counties, which takes place during the early May Bank Holiday weekend. It reflects all the great things about Milton Keynes, including the beautiful scenery and fantastic stadium.
The routes offer a mix of old and new, and include the original Milton Keynes Village, and the Bradwell Abbey, which dates back to the 14th Century. It also passes the Roman ruins at Bancroft, the Bradwell Windmill, which was built in c1810 and St Andrews, a 13th Century church in Manor Park.
The routes are very scenic and include beautiful lakes, picturesque parks and even the meandering grand union canal. And of course, as you would expect, the marathon route takes in the famous Concrete Cows of Milton Keynes!
